Disappointed in this surgery now tbh 12yrs I have been registered here have never called a doctor out and only ever gone if really needed granted I have missed appointments on a few occasions accidently however my last appointment I was going to complain as the one patient before me was in with the doctor for over an hour I have bad anxiety and asked if I could see another doctor as the surgery was now completely empty and there were doctors without patients but the receptionist kept saying no I had to wait even tho I was starting to have an attack and was in tears very unhelpful or sympathetic in any way shape or form only reason for not putting in a complaint was because the nice doctor had unfortunately had an emergency to deal with which I totally understand but why I was not seen by another gp I'll never know then today for the first time I had an emergency I couldn't get to the surgery but was sent a prescription to the chemist that I could not get too same reason I couldn't get to surgery and needed the prescription asap pharmacy couldn't deliver at short notice and the surgery said nothing they can do at all! Unbelievable! luckily for me the fantastic staff at pill box was able to deliver the medication I needed in the end or it would of been another ambulance to the hospital totally unnecessary and unfair to have to use the emergency service like that which has brought me to write this review just my honest opinion but baddow village is very dissapointing
Takes forever to get an appointment. Pot luck which GP you end up with. Receptionists can be rude, obstinate and dismissive and desperately need to go on a customer service course. The only saving grace are the GPs, who despite the lack of funding and time in the day are always accommodating...
I recently joined the surgery and have found them to be very accommodating. On the day I registered I was seen straight away as I was having some issues with my chest and since then I've not had many issues getting an appointment. The front desk staff have been polite and helpfulIt can take a while to get through but I know the staff are trying to deal with incoming calls and people at the desk so you can't expect them to do everything.
Doctors are great when and if you get in to see them. Appointments are only released at 8 am which means you have to stand in line at the surgery to book an appoint or spend two hours calling in only to finally get through and be told appointments are released at 8 am - absolutely brilliant. As a result I think we will just utilize 111 as a GP service. But if you are fortunate enough to get an appointment the doctors are great.
This morning I called 66 times trying to get through and was put on hold for 24 mins to be told there was no appointments. I am now waiting for a possible call back from the receptionist if the doctor decides I'm sick enough for an emergency appointment not having spoken to me. I went to the doctor 3 weeks ago with a sinus infection. Was refused antibiotics. Now have a very painful ear infection from initial symptoms that never cleared up. There is one amazing doctor here. The others I have met have been very unsympathetic.
