Took my 8 year old nephews for a Christmas 'Donkey Walk' that they really enjoyed. There's a nice little farm shop there as well.
Visited with son, daughter in law & 2 year old granddaughter (who'd been there before). Lovely breakfast, friendly staff and nice having the animals to visit! Loved the Kune kune pigs!
We used to live down the road from Lathcoats and have never found a better farm shop. It was great 10 years ago but it is even better now. Apples are amazing but lots of other great foodstuffs. Enjoyed the cafe too. Yummy lunch.
I visit here every week, staff are friendly and helpful! My only grip is that It's such a shame the car park is full of people going to the coffee shop, who stay there for a long time, it's a shame there's not a longer stay car park or more disabled bays!!When you're just wanting to pop in the farm shop for your vegetables, fruit and eggs, and you're disabled you can not get a parking space, as there are only 3 spaces available, we can't walk from the other car park.
We had fun fruit picking, got lots of currants but unfortunately were a bit late for berries and a bit early for the plums. Lathcoats do update their website regularly so would advise checking on there before you go. We enjoyed a very delicious cream tea in the restaurant, had a look in the shop and even met a few farm animals!
